Based on the original Dutch articles “Attention for Attitude” by Marco
Attitude is an important part of the role we, as managers, play. It is a measure by which you are judged by your peers and subordinates.

Principle 1: An agreement is an agreement.
This is, of course, a no-brainer but that makes it no less true. But, what is an agreement actually? More about that here.
Principle 2: On time is on time.
Though it may seem an extrapolation of Principle 1, it does have it’s own nuances and abiding by its rules (or not) does have its consequenses. More here.
Principle 3: Action = Result = Feedback
This cycle is important for the simple reason that actions should lead to results and those involved get the relevant feedback about their actions (or questions). More here.
Principle 4: Teamwork
We are a team. Which means, make time for eachother both planned and unplanned. Read the intricacies of this principle here.
Principle 5: Coaching
What is coaching, where does it come from and what are the actions you as a coach could and should do. Read more about it here.
Principle 6: focus on priorities
What does focus do for you and your co-managers, why is it necessary and handy to determine. Demand it from your own managementteam after reading this!
Principle 7: Be positive!
It is very easy to reply to negative energy with negative energy. Don’t! Be positive, constructive and understanding. Read more here.
